History and Background

Bokone Music is South Africa's leading record Label in World, African and contemporary Jazz. It was started by Jazz pianist composer, producer Don Laka. His 33 years experience in the music industry, prompted him to start a home for the "creative artist”. His noted production on Hugh Masekala's CDs "Black to the Future" and "60" has proven his expertise in the field as best in South African Music Industry.
