THE CLASSICAL KWAAI JAZZ EXPERIENCE MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA

Bokone Music presents the Classical Kwaai Jazz Experience live in concert, at the Tshwane State Theatre from the 15th – 20th May 2007.

The concept is a brainchild of Don Laka, the internationally acclaimed, and South Africa’s own son of the soil. He is a pioneer, known to defy convention in his vision to free the artistic spirit that dawns all his creations.

This time around, the five day event features the fifty-piece, MIAGI Orchestra, (which has in the past collaborated with the likes of Miriam Makeba and Ladysmith Black Mambazo), Don Laka and a line-up of some of South Africa’s crème de la crème, appearing as guests.

To whet your appetite a bit, some of the guest appearances would be from the
Formidable Afro Tenors, Jazz Diva: Gloria Bosman; Tsonga Crooner: Herman Fox Manganyi and the First Ladies of Kwaai-Jazz: Palesa, who have just hit the markets with their new hit album, entitled “Phantasy”.

This is just a snippet to show the range and quality of musicians that will leave you screaming for encores.
