In 2002, Ray C catapulted onto the bongo flava and R&B charts with her debut album, Mapenzi yangu with hit singles such as Uko wapi, mapenzi yangu and nimezama.

The young lady has a presence on stage that would definitely captivate anyone watching her performance. Whether you are listening or watching Nawewe milele, mapenzi yangu or namtafuta!! You would definitely wish you were looking at her perform live.

Ray C started her singing career since she was 12. Her journey in the music business started growing stronger and stronger when she started performing at school talent shows in Kabojja secondary school (in Uganda ). Her audience grew wilder at discovering that the non royal born princess not only hard a sweet voice, a unique belly dance performance on stage but also was in position to spin the wheels of a turn table (an extra credit that makes her the only one of her kind in the business).

In 1999, she decided to take her talent to another level when she took the offer of working with East Africa Radio where she drove the city wild with jamming programs such as music box, and sue the Jam. In 2002 she joined Clouds Entertainments LTD (Clouds radio station) and kept her groove strong as usual with programs like Dr Beat, Saturday fever and mid morning jam and the Coco Friday disco night.

Having had a monster album in 2003 with soulful and beautiful songs such as, Uko wapi, mapenzi yangu and nimezama. Ray C is now ready to feed her thirst audience with another to be music blockbuster album called NAWEWE MILELE. The album features hit single “Nawewe milele” "Wanifuatia nini", "Namtafuta" to mention but a few.

The album is a masterpiece and at the same times a classic that will live on long after our generation. The greatest dream of the young artist has always been to move her music to an international level, and indeed she has. Ray C scooped an award for the Best Female artiste Uganda/Tanzania, beating Saida Karoli and Lady Jaydee of Tanzania.

If you really want to capture the attention of this beautiful youngster, give her a call and mention some thing about swimming, go watch movies, play Badminton (she is a youth champion for two years in Kabojja Sec Sch in Uganda ) and relaxing at any given time of the day.
